A cake whose origins date back to the Renaissance, created at the court of the Gonzaga family for the wedding of Isabella d’Este and Francesco II Gonzaga on February 12, 1490.

The rosebuds shaped into the dough were a tribute to the young Isabella, who was destined to become one of the leading figures of the Italian Renaissance.

Torta delle Rose is a soft and airy cake, with delicate notes of butter and vanilla.
The dough, rolled into small rosebuds, forms an elegant and delicate bouquet.
